photo Today the New York City MTA launched their first On the Go information kiosk at the Bowling Green station. The kiosk included three third-party “apps” including one from Zagat that I worked on with @mark_litwin. The Zagat app shows the Zagat-rated restaurants near the station and includes restaurant details and a map. Always fun to see a new product go live especially when there’s a real-world launch event. These kiosks will be rolling out to 4 more subway stations in the next few weeks as part of the pilot program. Keep an eye out for one.
